Gazelle has expanded its Medeo family of electric bikes with a powerful new high-torque model called the Medeo T10+. With an expanded battery range and top speed of 28 mph, this bike is ready for some serious rides.
Starting at $3,499, the T10+ represents the highest performance bike yet in the Medeo line. It features the latest generation Class 3 Bosch Performance Line Speed gen 4.0 motor which puts out a massive 85Nm of torque. That’s more than enough torque to power up the steepest hills or zip up to full speed from a stoplight. A 500Wh battery provides enough juice to let you ride a claimed 35 miles to 90 miles, depending on assistance mode and other factors like elevation gain. And there’s an option to add a second battery to extend the already large range. If you live in a hilly area, have a big commute or just like to ride far at high speeds, this bike has you covered.
The bike is well-outfitted, too. It comes with an integrated headlight and taillight as well as fenders, a rear rack with bungee straps, a bell, a chain guard and a rear-wheel lock for quick stops. A suspension fork and wide Schwalbe Big Apple tires add additional comfort to the ride, and hydraulic disc brakes ensure you can stop just as quickly as you can accelerate with this high torque motor. And a 10-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain provides enough gears to head up big hills and speed through the flats.
The Medeo T10+ neatly integrates the battery and motor into the down tube and bottom bracket for a clean look. It is available in both high-step and mid-step models (high-step comes in a Mallard Blue Gloss color and the mid-step comes in Petrol Gloss), and three sizes: 45cm, 50cm and 55cm.
